OK, so I’m committing to starting a blog. I love to travel, and I love to write, so I thought why not share some of my experiences. Explore and Inspire – that’s what I really want this blog to be about. I hope you enjoy reading and feel free to share your own comments!
Let’s talk travel resolutions. We’re blowing through 2018. Hard to believe it’s May.
When I first thought about this year, I thought of it as a new year with new possibilities. Many of us start off the year with resolutions. Making (and keeping) New Year’s Resolutions are always tricky. But each year, I make some of my New Year’s Resolutions to be travel resolutions. I think about where I really want to go and make it happen.
Here were my travel resolutions and where I am with them so far:
1) Try something completely out of my comfort zone. Complete. I took my first cruise in January. More on that in a future post.
2) Visit somewhere with fabulous fall foliage.
3) Euro Disney and a Christmas Market in December – fingers crossed on this one.
4) Visit a bucket list destination. OK, so I have MANY bucket list wishes, and I’ve been fortunate enough to visit a majority of these. This year, I added Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island to the places I can cross off my bucket list. And, well, oops I loved them so much that my future travel plans are now kind of up in the air!
Did you make travel resolutions this year, and how are they going?
